3) Swapping two numbers without using a temporary variable

void main()
{
int a,b;
printf("enter any 2 nums to swap");
scanf("%d%d",&a,&b);
printf("\n nums before swapping are a=%d and b=%d",a,b);
a=a+b; //statement 1
b=a-b;  //statement 2

a=a-b;  //statement 3
printf("\n nums after swapping are a=%d and b=%d\n",a,b);

}
Lets Take an Example and try to solve see how it really works
lets say a=2,b=3;

 statement 1
a=a+b  now lets substitute our values and try to evaluate the expression
a=2+3
So at the end of  the statement 1 a's value is 5

statement 2
b=a-b;
b=5-3
b=2
So at the end of the statement 2 b's value is 2

statement 3
a=a-b
a= 5-2 ( remember a's value is still 5 from our first statement)
So at the end of the statement a's value is 3

Mission Accomplished now a=3 and b=2

Churaliya hai thumne jo dil ko lyrics

Chura liya hai tumne jo dil ko
Nazar nahin churaana sanam
Badalke meri tum zindagaani
Kahin badal na jaana sanam
Oh, le liya dil, oh haai mera dil
Haai dil lekar mujhko na behlaana
Chura liya hai tumne jo dil ko
Nazar nahin churaana sanam
Badalke meri tum zindagaani
Kahin badal na jaana sanam
(Bahaar banke aaoon kabhi tumhaari duniya mein
Guzar na jaaye yeh din kahin isi tamanna mein) - 2
Tum mere ho, ho tum mere ho
Aaj tum itna vaada karte jaana
Chura liya
Chura liya hai tumne jo dil ko
Nazar nahin churaana sanam
Badalke meri tum zindagaani
Kahin badal na jaana sanam

--MALE--
Hai vafa kya is jahaan ko
Ek din dikhla doonga main deewana
Chura liya
Chura liya hai tumne jo dil ko
Nazar nahin churaana sanam
Badalke meri tum zindagaani
Kahin badal na jaana sanam
Le liya dil, haai mera dil
Haai dil lekar mujhko na behlaana
Chura liya hai tumne jo dil ko
Nazar nahin churaana sanam

Technology Time

I basically believe or follow two approaches to learn something new:
1) Top-down approach
2) Bottom-up approach
For more information about learning things in your own way checkout the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top-down_and_bottom-up_designweeblylink_new_window

Through out my blog I would like to follow the second method which is basically learning by example. However before getting to our first C program I would like to walk you through some basic things which I feel you might need to write your first C program.

1) If I am learning a new programming language, the first program I would want to write is print something to the output device which is usually a monitor. Below is a C program for the same:
__________________________________________________________________________________
#include
void main()
{
printf("This is my first C program, It is so exciting to learn a new language");
}
__________________________________________________________________________________
Now save your program,compile and run
o/p is as below:

This is my first C program, It is so exciting to learn a new language

Now Lets try to understand what each line means in our program:

#(hash)--> is called the pre processor directive It is a

program that processes our source program before it is
passed to the compiler. Preprocessor commands
form what can almost be considered a language within
C language. We can certainly write C programs
without knowing anything about the preprocessor or its facilities.  So that is about the preprocessor directive. If you wanna know more about preprocessor please refer to the book - Let US C by Yeshwant kanetkar. I always admire the way he describes the technology. Ok lets move on to the next aspect.

stdio--> Standard input/output header file.. Prototypes of all input/output
functions are provided in the file ‘stdio.h’,

2) Swapping two numbers using a temporary variable:
__________________________________________________________________________________

#include
void main()
{
int a,b,t;
printf("enter any 2 nums to swap");
scanf("%d%d",&a,&b);
printf("\n nums before swapping are a=%d and b=%d",a,b);

t=a;
a=b;
b=t;
printf("\n nums after swapping are a=%d and b=%d\n",a,b);
}

Where expectations lead Us

Until today I have been thinking or I have seen only positive angle of the "expectation". When I say positive angle as in:

" A mother "expecting" her child to grow big and some day make her dreams come true or grow up into at the least a good samaritan " or

" what does a toddler expect from the world, just a bottle of milk"

" If you ask a 10 year middle class family kid, he would want something which a upper class family kid has of his age"

" If you ask a 25 yr old guy with a good degree and nice job( I really did ask) , he would say he expects fun and joy in his life"

These are just samples. When you categorize the list of things tat people expect from their life, I really wonder I would be immersed in an ocean of expectations of good and unfortunately some evil list .

Is Expectation good ? bad ?

I wonder when or where the level/type of expectation takes diversity from its positive angle to negative. Well from my experience people tend to think that the life or the situation they are living in present is worse than it is, and the future less resolved than it will be. So they tend to fool themselves with expectations and again I am not asking one not to expect anything from life but to be cautious about the expectations.

" Today a strange thing happened with me. I encountered a situation today where I got a call from this so called higly educated, person who demands or I would rather use word "threatens" money from me for not only causing damage to my time but also for my career. My blood pressure might have measured 200. I feel funny now for the way I felt when I was talking to that person( I m in my 20s when I am writing this blog, probably thats the reason for my BP levels) . When I came to my senses, I started thinking what exactly makes a person to feel this way and I could think of only one word expectations of course a bad one which would lead to greediness and then destroy person before even he/she realises. If he has realised what he is expecting from others he wouldnt be in this situation in the first place."

So Mates Please watch out when you expect things from others. Just think for a sec, " Is your expectation hurting others? "
" Dreaming is one thing, and working towards the dream is one thing, but working with expectations in mind is very self-defeating"

Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.

Story after some gnan ....All about Expectations!!!!!!

Good story on expectation…..

Butcher watching over his shop is really surprised when he sees a dog coming inside the shop. He shoos him away. But later, the dog is back again. So, he goes over to the dog and notices it has a note in its mouth.

He takes the note and it reads "Can I have 12 sausages and a leg of lamb, please". The dog has money in its mouth, as well. The butcher looks inside and, there is a ten dollar note there. So he takes the money and puts the sausages and lamb in a bag, placing it in the dog's mouth.

The butcher is so impressed, and since it's about closing time, he decides to shut the shop and follow the dog. So off he goes.

The dog is walking down the street, when it comes to a level crossing; the dog puts down the bag, jumps up and presses the button. Then it waits patiently, bag in mouth, for the lights to turn. They do, and it walks across the road, with the butcher following him all the way.

The dog then comes to a bus stop, and starts looking at the timetable. The butcher is in awe as the dog stops a bus by pulling its left leg up and gets in it. The butcher follows the dog into the bus. Then the dog shows a ticket which is tied to its belt to the bus conductor. The butcher is nearly fainting at this sight, so are the other passengers in the bus. The dog then sits near the driver's seat looking outside waiting for the bus stop to come. As soon as the stop is in sight, the dog stands and wags its tail to inform the conductor. Then, without waiting for the bus to stop completely, it jumps out of the bus and runs to a house very close to the stop.

It opens the big Iron Gate and rushes inside towards the door. As it approaches the wooden door, the dog suddenly changes its mind and heads towards the garden. It goes to the window, and beats its head against it several times, walks back, jumps off, and waits at the door. The butcher watches as a big guy opens the door, and starts abusing the dog, kicking him and punching him, and swearing at him.

The butcher surprised with this, runs up, and stops the guy. "What in heaven's name are you doing? The dog is a genius. He could be on TV, for the life of me!" to which the Guy responds: "You call this clever? This is the second time this week that this stupid dog's forgotten his key."

Moral of the story: You may continue to exceed onlooker's expectations but shall always fall short of the Boss' expectations.

It's dog's life after all.........
